It's Nice to be Back!

After two years of undefined mountain biking activities. I finally found an exit route from boredom and routine into the trail and wilderness.

With a few bucks on my pocket the entry was with upgrading my mechanical brake system into Hydraulics! Whooorah!

With a few help from friends and kind hearted bike shop owners, I was able to afford a Shimano Deore XT Hydraulic Calipers with Shimano Deore Hydraulic Levers courtesy of Bisikleta and Corpo Cycle. And due to experimental purpose to prove to myself that Clarks' parts are really good or not, I decided to try their 6 bolt disk brake rotors.

Furthermore please excuse the dirt because, I have just tried my Good old bike under the rain....as usual ! ^__^

Trainer

Off the pedal for almost a year, I am feeling the need of a trainer. But with the current price of trainers on the market, I think I'm gonna make one! ^^

The Best Rear Setup of Mountainbikes

Before you start scrolling down and criticize the photos, I would like to put a safety net that the following photos are taken from the internet and are scrutinized and judged by me as a best rear setup for Mountain Bikes ^^. Take note rear only! =) And So far only these Units passed my standards and taste without even trying them . hehehehe..... But if anyone willing to send me units to test, make sure the rear setup is similar to any of these units. sweet =)

Criteria:
1. Simplicity: Mechanical setup and moving parts (The lower the better)
2. Technology: number of shocks (the lower the better)

Acid Rain

Some catch while on wheels during the dusk. A yellowish accent of the clouds reminds me of the recent news that a acid rain will fall more often this days. Whew! I loved to pedal my bike under the rain, but with this health hazard news about the coming rains, gotta go home when the horizon turns gray....

Chick on Wheels

Another chick on two wheeled machine. After spinning my neck on Darci's beauty, now G caught my eyes with her total makeover from a rugged truck driver into a charming commencal rider! ^^

Pumped Up

I recently bought this Giyo double action air pump from our local bikeshop - Bisikleta, I had to buy one because my centennial pump got busted. And while window shopping this hub series caught my attention and reminded me of my busted identical hub

While this hub caught my attention as a replacement for my hub with broken wings, but then again my decision of buying this part is put on hold because of the fact that I am not sure if Shimano revised the pawls of these hubs.
